Rod Mackenzie, the plumber, is the second from the left. Antarctida, 1968.

The book sent by my friends, Pauline and Rod Mackenzie, has safely arrived in St.Petersburg from Australia . Rod Mackenzie writes about his work as a plumber in Antarctica in this book. Though, later, he becomes the President of the Legislative Assembly of Victoria state in Australia, Minister for Conservation, Forests and Lands and is awarded the Order of Australia in 1999, he will never forget the beauty of Antarctica and his unique experience at the Australian antarctic station.
